E-Waste and Photovoltaic Panel Disposal Facility
In the municipality of Sogliano al Rubicone, in Ponte Uso, Sogliano Ambiente has converted and given new life to a disused factory of more than 7,000 square meters by building an innovative facility for the treatment of photovoltaic panels and all Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) inside it.
Thanks to this, today Sogliano Ambiente is able to offer its customers a complete pickup and treatment service to recover all Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), clearing out offices and storage facilities in complete safety and in full compliance with regulations. It is one of the most sustainable disposal facilities in the area.

The model of Sogliano Ambiente is based on principles and values such as transparency, clarity, reliability and credibility. The mission is to ensure a high level of environmental protection through proper disposal of WEEE so that it is not abandoned in the streets or dispersed in the environment with its highly toxic and hazardous substances.
In this sense, the WEEE disposal facility is equipped with the best technologies and is operated according to the European End of Waste (EOW) Production Regulations to counter the dispersion of WEEE and photovoltaic panels outside legal channels and initiate the recovery of materials in complete safety. In fact, any waste, if treated properly, can yield useful raw materials for new industrial processes.
