Sogliano Ambiente specializes in the disposal of photovoltaic panels.
End-of-life photovoltaic panels, made of mono- and polycrystalline silicon, are processed. They account for about 90 percent of the panels installed in Italy.
Sogliano Ambiente provides assistance for the correct handling of the waste in all its phases and in compliance with current regulations: starting from the correct way of storing it at the facility of the producer, to the correct way of transporting it, to the proper treatment and the recovery of materials from photovoltaic panels.

Sogliano Ambiente is the first company in Italy that has succeeded in obtaining EoW (End of Waste) status on glass produced by the treatment of photovoltaic panels according to EU Regulation No. 1179 of 2012. The term End Of Waste means "Loss of waste status" and indicates the process at the end of which a waste loses that status to acquire that of product or secondary raw material.
The recovery line for photovoltaic panels at Sogliano Ambiente is fully mechanical and is able to separate and recover every single fraction that makes up the panel to be subsequently part of a recycling project in different industrial sectors (manufacture and processing of glass, ceramics and enamels, aluminum foundries, production of manufactured goods...)

- Preparation of Waste Identification Forms (FIR)
- Collection at the specified location in total safety
- Certificate of successful treatment/materials recovery of the waste provided to be sent to GSE (Gestore Servizi Energetici)
